In this video, you will learn the basics of how to install a door. These tips are especially helpful if your old door is broken and needs replaced. The first thing you do after unpacking the door is removing the plug. Every packaged door has a plug inside the door handle hole that requires a hammer to wedge it out. Make sure you do this because it’s easier to do it at the beginning than at the end of the project.
The next step is to check how level the floor underneath where the door will be is. Doors work best on a level floor so you have to make sure it is or the door could not work.
